In memory of Paul Buckmaster

I just learned that legendary cellist, arranger and conductor Paul Buckmaster passed away. I was thinking of all the music he was involved in and put together a playlist of 20 selected songs that he was a part of in one way or another.

Miles Davis was first introduced to Stockhausen’s work in 1972 by collaborator Paul Buckmaster, and the trumpeter reportedly kept a cassette recording of the 1966–67 Hymnen composition in his Lamborghini sports car.
