Will Skype be Microsoft’s social network?

Skype is now also a media platform. But it also has the potential to be an alternative social network to compete with Facebook, Twitter and Google+. It is already a competitor with WeChat, Kakao and LINE. Note that Microsoft already has an experimental social network called so.cl, but I am not sure how many is using it.
