Known for his portrayals of idiosyncratic characters, Crispin Hellion Glover has appeared in such films as “Back to the Future,” “River’s Edge,” “The Doors,” “Willard” and “The Charlie’s Angels” series. First embarking on his acting career at the age of 13, he has since forged a unique and expansive artistic legacy with a large and varied body of work.
“I do not view eccentric as a negative term,” Glover said in an interview. “I view it [as] a poetic interpretation of a mathematical term meaning something that does not follow a centric line/course. Many of the characters I have played can be called eccentric. My own films and books can be called eccentric. I find all of this fine…the best philosophy for feeling good about oneself is to not compare oneself to others.”
