Three of the top four smartphone apps are Google apps

Of the 10 most popular apps in the world Google owns four, Facebook three and Microsoft one. Only Tencent in Shenzen, China and WhatsApp in Santa Clara, California can compete with the three tech giants. Expect LINE (Japan) and KakaoTalk (South Korea) to enter the top 10 anytime soon, though.
