Start building apps for the WindowsPhone platform

Android has taken over the mobile space and gaining market share every day. iOS is losing ground. Both have about a million apps, though.

After merging with – or taking over – BlackBerry’s market share, WindowsPhone will probably be the number two mobile OS in a couple of years. However, both are lacking apps and ecosystem.

There is a huge business opportunity there with many developers ignoring the Microsoft platform due to a misunderstood geeky religion.

To help battle its app problem, Microsoft just launched the Windows Phone App Studio for non-programmers to create apps in a web-based WYSIWYG environment.
