Music blogs are about great music and speed

Running a succesful music blog can have a variety of parameters as its core concept: interviews, reviews, posting new music videos, rediscovering classic tracks or finding the next big thing.

Often, it is also about speed. Who can post a hot, new track first. There’s always a little competition, whether you like it or not.

The two giants of music blogging are Pitchfork and Stereogum.

Yesterday, I managed to beat both of them with my in development blog New Music United!

I am getting lots of information from these ‘monsters of blog’, read them daily – along with all the other and upcoming blog channels – and have no ambition to be as big as them.

It’s fun, however, to beat the big guys sometimes.

Hopefully, the other blogs will get their first hand information from New Music United in the future.

I am planning a special section with Danish artists called ‘ELECTRODANES’.
