For more than 10 years, I have posted playlists featuring tracks from my meticulously handpicked Top 20 album year lists.

By popular demand (that’s you, Michael William Friis), I have carefully curated a selection of tracks from 2014 to 2024. I say careful because I wanted to stay within my one hour maximum and still feature top tracks from all the years.

The music is heavily inspired from long periods of staying in Paris and London. It opens with six French artists, then an interlude suite of tracks by the esoteric Scottish artist Andrew Wasylyk, who has been a stalwart on my lists since 2017!

I really miss the late Cola Boyy (signed by a French record label) from Los Angeles to whom this playlist is dedicated, and it ends with the wonderful Loren Kramar from the same city, who last year released what could be the album of the entire decade.

My thoughts are with the people of Los Angeles, who at the time of writing are struggling with horrible fires. And a special thank you to my old friends Soft Cell, who made a special soundtrack for me at a very difficult, personal time in London.

I am already working on my 2025 year list.
