The Last Track: Wang Chung – Big World

‘The Warmer Side of Cool’ is a companion album to the top selling ‘Mosaic’ album featuring the smash hit ‘Everybody Have Fun Tonight’. Both are produced by the Austrian producer Peter Wolf. It was their fourth and final album for Geffen Records. TWSOC is an underrated masterpiece with amazing songs written and recorded in Los Angeles over a three year period. Opening track ‘Praying To A New God’ was a minor hit, but the record company never managed to position the album for the sales it deserved. The last track on the album is really the last track since it was the last for Geffen and also the last for 23 years! It is also the masterpiece on the album and my favourite song this week.
